Dock shelters act as a seal between the warehouse door opening and the truck body ensuring maximum working environment protection. Dock shelters prevent dust, wind, rain, insects and draughts from entering into the facility. DoorHan dock shelters are available in two types: inflatable and curtain type. The curtain type dock shelters can be non-collapsible or with retractable structure. It is especially convenient to use dock shelters at warehouses where perishable goods require special loading conditions.
Sanvy dock seal is the most economical equipment designed to provide the tightest possible sealing at docks that serve uniformly sized trailers with hard bodies. During loading/unloading operations the trailer (with open doors) backs into the dock seal and compresses the pads by about 50 mm thus forming a tight seal around three sides of the trailer. The three sides reinforced PVC fabric cover is highly elastic and wear and tear resistant. The dock seal assembly is mounted using the suspended method of installation.
Sanvy inflatable dock shelters are used at the loading docks of warehouses and food manufacturing plants equipped with freezing rooms where keeping strict control of temperature at the desired level is crucial. During loading/unloading operations a trailer partially backs into the dock shelter while top and side air bags inflate around the top and sides of the truck body providing tight sealing. When not in use, the air bags deflate. This dock shelter can be controlled from a dock leveler control unit having special function of shelter operation control. It’s highly recommended to install wheel guides and shock columns in front of the loading dock when using this type of shelter. The shelter is mounted using the suspended method of installation.
Retractable shelters of DSHRT and DSHRTM series are designed to perfectly suit warehouses, logistics centres and other premises with medium cargo traffic. PVC fabric used for front curtains is highly elastic and wear and tear resistant. Trailers back into the shelter during loading/unloading operations while head and side curtains create a tight seal against the truck top and rear body. In case of off-center parking the collapsible frame retracts upon impact and automatically returns to its original position after truck departure. The shelter is mounted using the suspended method of installation.
